Praying of the Rosary for our Country and our Church, in front on the Pieta
at Mater Dolorosa On October 10! This group was one of 22,000
throughout the country, ALL praying a public Rosary, ALL at the same time!
This is MD’s third year of participation. This is what the Blessed Mother asked for at Fatima in 1917 when she told the people to pray the Rosary for World Peace.

The month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is primarily
due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated a
nnually on October 7. It was instituted to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary
in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying
of the Rosary by the faithful.
